Michelle Mckellar, LAC, LPC-S
Licensed addictions counselor / licensed professional counselor

“A trusting therapist-client relationship empowers my clients to manage challenging life situations and align their values, goals, and vision with their lives. Therapy is interactive, and I provide challenges along with a unique understanding of each person’s individual life and struggles. I believe in each client’s individuality and therefore, do not stick with one theory or technique. Therapy is uniquely customized for each individual, couple, and family depending on needs and personalities.”
Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Science degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University.
Michelle’s approach to working with people who are seeking out therapy services is compassionate and client-centered. She views therapy as a partnership between therapist and client. She works to provide a warm, supportive, non-threatening, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel free to express their innermost thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
Michelle believes everyone has the potential to be happy and fulfilled in life, they may just need the push and encouragement towards the right direction for them.
